Revised Eight Fold Banishing Ritual

Beast

Introduction

The Revised Eightfold Banishing Ritual of the Beast is based on the Eightfold Banishing published by Soror Nema in her excellent book Ma’at Magick. Some mechanics of the ritual seemed clunky in my practices with them and the language did not actually sing to me. I opted to revise the ritual and streamline it a bit. Some of Nema’s formulae has been adjusted to conform more with Liber AL vel Legis and I dopped the Shaitan-Aiwass dual name in favor of Aiwass.

Ritual

Beginning in the South raise you sword or wand over your head and proclaim:

Apo Pantos Kakodaemonos

Circle the temple deosil holding your wand or sword out and intone:

ABRAHADABRA

When you reach the south again trace an r and a ¡ and vibrate:

South: Therion

Southeast: Hoor Paar Kraat

East: Ra Hoor Khuit

Northeast: Hadit

North: Nuit

Northwest: Ma’at

West: Babalon

Southwest: Aiwass

Return to the south and point to the center of the r and say:

South: Begone Elemental out of place

East: Begin all malignant entities

North: Begone force contrary to my True Will

West: Begone all ye who would interfere

In the center of the Temple raise your sword or wand above your head facing south and say:

In the word of the Aeon I open this Temple: ABRAHADABRA!

(to close simply reverse the rituals order and instead of open say I close this Temple)
